History
The Oliver Fire Department owes its success to the many dedicated men and women who have so unstintingly given their time, effort, and ability to make the department one of the most efficient departments in British Columbia. Since the inception of the department, its praises have been sung by all who have had reason to be in any way connected or associated with it. The feats of bravery, fire fighting, searches, rescues, life saving, etc, are retold by residents, travellers, and organizations in a grateful and respectful manner.
